Christophe Decarnin really didnt surprise anyone with this fall 09 ready to wear collection. Christophe, whom is known for his "tennis ball" shoulders and rock-chic bling, with a disco flavour this season. Certainly the shortest and tightest dresses on the catwalk this season. Also making an appearance were the cult favourite peak-shouldered jackets which this time around were now seen in leather biker and tuxedo jacket styles, with harem pants on the bottom. Not only does Balmain make a killing with their red hot fashions, merchants everywhere are known to knock of this style into more affordable prices and laugh all the way to the bank. I hope to see more change next season in order to stay ahead of the fashion game. I dont know how many seasons of these shoulder pads, sequins and harem pants can last without falling into the cliche category.
